Dr. Lindsay Fujawa DDS, MS

Dr. Lindsay attended Texas A&M University for her undergraduate education where she received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Sciences. She then returned to her hometown of Dallas to earn her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Texas A&M Baylor College of Dentistry. During dental school, she served as Class President for four consecutive years and was awarded the Betty J. Scott Scholarship for demonstrating “outstanding head skills, hand skills, and heart skills” and the Baylor Oral Health Foundation Centennial Award for “excellence in professionalism, leadership, clinical dentistry, patient management, and professional service”. One of her greatest joys during dental school was mentoring children through a ministry for previously incarcerated single mothers. This experience was one of several volunteer experiences that ignited her passion for making a career of serving and advocating for children. She completed her specialty training in pediatric dentistry at The Ohio State University and Nationwide Children’s Hospital where she was selected to serve as Chief resident by faculty and colleagues.  Following the completion of her research on dental emergencies in children, Dr. Lindsay received a Master of Science degree from the Ohio State University.

Born and raised in Texas, Dr. Lindsay has a deep love for sunshine, Tex-Mex, and country music. You may even hear an occasional “y’all” as her southern roots run deep.  Dr. Lindsay was recently married and lives in Ann Arbor with her husband who is also a pediatric dentist. Dr. Lindsay has loved making Michigan her home and tries to take advantage of new experiences like snowy winters, apple picking, and long summer days as much as she can.
